The 2015 will go down as one of the most hectic in my life that I can remember. Why? I can’t say for sure but I think it’s because of 3-4—age 3-4. ‘lil is growing up and if I thought taking care of a helpless potted plant, it has nothing on a pre-school age child. That, plus work, plus my ‘second’ job of writing, and I plum tuckered out and always wondering where did my day go. Surprisingly, I’m also quite content—go figure.
I suppose I could just type out a list(s) of stuff, but that’s kinda boring—even I don’t want to read a list of what I did last year. Instead I try to do it with some pictures.
Since this site is mainly devoted to my books and me as an author—what? You thought my real name was Andrew Q. Gordon—we should start with the books that came out this year.
I could tell you a story—I’m kinda good at that—but you know what they say about pictures and words. Here’s a novel’s worth.

Lil Q is growing up so fast! What a cutie. You guys are doing a great job as parents – it shows in the photos. Happy new year, Andy.
She is, Anne. I keep asking her to stop but she always says, “no.” Happy New Year to you and your family.
She’s so beautiful and so adorably happy. I can almost feel your pride in her. What a lovely life you have. <3
Thanks, Carole. She is a handful at times for this grumpy, old curmudgeon, but I agree, I have nothing to complain about. Have a great 2016 and hope to see you again this year.
Fantastic pics you guys, what an adventure filled life she is having.
All the best to all three of you for 2016
Thanks, Mark. And thank you for always remembering ‘lil q. Happy New Year to you and Stuart.
Love the pictures in review. Lil ‘q is growing up so fast, she is just adorable and what a smile! 2015 was a great year for sure with your new books coming out and re-releases. Looking forward to sharing 2016 with you, your family and the worlds you create. Wishing you all the best in 2016!
These are so great! She knows she’s loved and that’s why it radiates in each picture. I would say she is so lucky but all three of you and Emma seem like you are definitely a wonderful family.
Interesting and busy years are not just in your recent past! Congrats on the fine pics of your daughter. And puppies too…they were not much work, I’m sure!
Funny how being so busy you don’t have time to chill is so satisfying….
Best wishes for an equally rewarding 2016!
