Every year Dreamspinner Press has an Workshop for its authors. Each year more and more people attend. Last year, in Portland, I started taking selfies with people. So I continued the ‘tradition’ this year.

Selfies From Orlando
Not the best of me, but J.P. Barnaby looks great! Amy DiMartino looking wonderful Amy Lane agreed to be seen with me. (Yes she’s that lovely!) Amy and Kim Fielding showing off. The ‘tradition’ continues – Shae Connor and I. You’ve made it when you’re in a selfie with Rick R. Reed. K.C. Wells is a brave woman being in so many pictures with me. Grace R. Duncan was stepping out in style so I needed a picture. Thankfully Lex Chase looks good, cause I look stupid in this one. Eden Winters – is such a wonderful person. So SJD Peterson and I aren’t that orange in real life, the lighting sucked, but that is SO JO! Always smiling. Rhys Ford let me interrupt for another selfie. Taking a selfie with ‘the man’ Damon Suede. The very ‘wicked’ Lynn West. Just because she’s fabulous – another one with Amy. Poppy Denison and I finally chatted, so i needed a picture. One of my favorite people, Wade Kelly. This is so her, always upbeat and happy. Ha, poor Poppy, I cornered her for another one. The new ‘tradition’ photo – Elizabeth North, K.C. and I. We took this last year, but this one is better. Elizabeth North and KC Wells in ’14 Last year and at GRL Lane Hayes avoided my camera, this year we got our picture. Charlie Cochet still as lovely as ever. But the coming home one with my best girl is still my favorite. -
GRL ’14 and Me – In Pictures
This was my first GRL and well I might have taken a few too many pictures, but I had a great time and I wanted to share a few (yes, there are way more than these). The videos didn’t fit in the gallery so I added them at the end.
The amazing Edmond Manning Reading from the Butterfly King K.C. Wells – smiling as always! K.C. and me out to celebrate her birthday. Two of my favorite ladies – K.C. and J.P. Barnaby Joyfully Jay and me With Heather Kobos Allison Hickman and me getting our green on. Shira Anthony letting every hear her amazing voice. Karokee – while it couldn’t compete with Shira, it was a lot of fun. Pearl Love channeling her inner Whitney Houston, and Pearl can sing! Posy Roberts serenading us all. Lane Hayes was the Karaoke host. Jordan Hawk letting me fanboy her. Dev Bantham and I at the Casino night. The lovely Charlie Cochet Lex Chase and Kim Fielding The always stylish Elisa Rolle JJ making me look good. K.C. was my good luck charm, I had quite a run when she was at my side. Elaine Lee was quite the card shark. Melanie Marshall Gwen Harter KC Wells showing off her boys. with Anne Tenino I can’t vouch for the photographer, but that really is me and Amy Lane. Edmond Manning agreed to be seen with me. I cornered Becky Condit and got this shot. My one and only with Dani Elle. At least we can see her. Shae Connor danced with me and gave me luck at poker. Can’t do GRL without her. Clare London With the wild and fun Will Prater. Anne Regan just before I went home My conference buddy and life line – Randi Latko. Thank you for helping e survive. That was me. Allison and I muggin it up for the last selfie of my GRL. This is what coming home looks like for me. This too. J.P. Found a new way to draw attention to me. It was. . .interesting to have this happen all the time. 😀
Seeing Amy Lane at the signing, well, we got a bit carried away.
If there was a better way to end GRL, I can’t think of what it would be.

Cover Reveal – A Heart for Robbie; by JP Barnby
Today I’m doing something special for a friend. She wrote a book that was very personal for her. It has some meaning that she will share with her fans and readers in due time; in her time. But JP is a rather wonderful person, a real angel among us. She published an entire line of books so she could donate the royalties to homeless LGBT youth, she created a website written by a YA character so LGBT youth would have a place to go and read about other kids like them and to feel safe; and she never judges. Everyone is someone and everyone matters.
When she asked me to help spread the word about A Heart for Robbie it was an automatic yes. If you’ve never read a JP Barnaby book, you should and this will be a great place to start.

New Releases: Monday June 10, 2013
In an effort to help some of my fellow authors, every Monday I post some of the numerous new books that have been released. For the most part these will be M/M Fiction with a heavy bias on Romance. That will probably evolve over time, but for now that’s where it is.
I’ve not read everything that is listed, though I’ve probably read or will read many. Which means inclusion on the list isn’t an endorsement or suggestion. You should read the blurbs provided to see if you’re interested. I’ll post reviews to books I recommend under the ‘Books I Reviewed’ tab. This is just a partial list of what’s new for visitors of my site to check out. That said if you end up reading something listed here and want to comment – please do. I reserve the right, however, to delete nasty or personal comments.
If you’re an author and want to include a new release, email me your blurb, cover image, buy links and any personal links you want included. No excerpts, interviews, giveaways etc. Those are welcome, but can be discussed separately.

He was like the only splash of color in a black-and-white photograph. The man was beautiful.
At an exhibition opening in Sydney, jaded Hollywood heartthrob Jaxon Moncrieff lays eyes on publicity-shy artist Liam Lassiter for the first time and is immediately captivated. But he doesn’t get far into their first conversation before he realizes what he’s feeling is attraction, which brings him up short. Jaxon has always been a womanizer.
Despite his reservations, Jaxon makes a play for Liam, but Liam has his own issues. Unlucky in love and orphaned at sixteen, he is reluctant to open his heart to anyone, and dismisses Jaxon out of hand. (more…)
